Fifty Shades DVD whips up a frenzy
If it’s coming from the mind of the controversial yet alluring Christian Grey, then it’s pretty dark – hence “Fifty Shades Darker!”.
“We have resurrected it for the new book and we haven’t had any adverse comment here”.
The forthcoming sequel of “50 Shades of Grey” has indeed something darker in store for those who will be watching it when it opens in February 2017. After the success of “Grey,” author E.L. James has confirmed that she will be writing the sequel of first book, “Fifty Shades Darker” from Christian Grey’s perspective.
Ehle’s wish to work with Taylor-Johnson again might happen in the future, but not for the “Fifty Shades” franchise. This is very normal in film adaptations, as the transition to the silver screen nearly always requires slight changes to point of view (POV), form, character, and style.
Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. She has even launched two wines inspired by the film. After all, majority are masochists.
Over the three years, the firm has generated £74.86m (€105.12m) in revenues from the book series that has sold 125m copies worldwide. The handsome heartthrob played by Jaime Dornan is sticking at least somewhat to his BDSM roots with a mask and imposing presence that is certainly making the atmosphere darker than before. “Things left to the imagination are better”. Talk about keeping busy and working to meet fans’ many needs! The clip showed Christian wearing a mask, in reference to “a scene from EL James’s original novel in which Grey’s paramour Anastasia Steele attends a masquerade at the home of her beau’s adoptive parents, Dr Grace Trevelyan-Grey and Carrick Grey“, The Guardian noted. “Stop pawing my girl, you (expletive)”, it says.
James’s Fifty Shades trilogy sold more than 125 million copies and spawned the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie film starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. There also hasn’t been any news yet regarding whether James will take “Fifty Shades Freed” and make it into a book from Christian’s eyes, as well, but it’s looking certainly as a definite possibility at this point.
It isn’t clear, though, whether she’ll release another edition for the third book using Christian’s POV.
