She was reportedly utterly unaware in that her spouse George Kay had been arrested (taken in to custody) on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft.
It is thought that the residents of the town believe that the former Atomic Kitten star would “lower the tone” of the area by moving there.
The Sun reports that the former rugby player was taken into police custody after three men allegedly assaulted the driver of a Mercedes vehicle before stealing two holdalls filled with jewellery.
Meanwhile, George’s arrest is the latest drama after a hard time for the couple.
The father-of-one, who married Kerry in September last year, has been bailed until later this month.
The Honda was later found in north west London after it had been set alight.
Neither victim sustained any significant injuries, police have said.
Three men all from London and aged 20, 21 and 66 have also been held.
Herts police said in a statement: “A 35-year-old man from South Oxfordshire was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery on July 25”.
News of his arrest is likely to upset Kerry, 34 – who also has children Lilly-Sue and Molly with ex-husband Brian McFadden and Heidi and Maxwell with her second husband Mark Croft – as he only recently moved back into their family home following their brief split last month. When she finds out she will be heartbroken, ‘ a source says.
