Samsung Pay: Will it let you leave your wallet at home?

In case you’re concerned about skimming or accidental purchases, each transaction will need to be authorized. The phone figures it out automatically. You’re not likely to give the waiter your phone – let alone your passcode – to pay the check at a restaurant. “Or, open the LoopPay app, enter your PIN and select the card you wish to pay with and tap the image of the card on the screen”.
Why is Samsung doing this?
Now, here’s where things might get a little sour for Samsung fans rocking even slightly older hardware. The device is also compatible with SideSync which allows the contents of the phone screen to be projected onto a PC or laptop monitor.
The concept is very similar to Apple Pay.
During today’s announcement Samsung also announced that they are planning to launch Samsung Pay in the near future in United Kingdom, Spain and China.
