Watch Lana Del Rey Get ‘High By the Beach’ in New Video

Del Rey floats around the house, doing her best not pay attention to a helicopter with video crew just outside her window.

And after unsuccessfully trying to ignore the pest, Lana grabs a hidden bazooka and knocks the chopper out of the air.

“High By The Beach” is Del Rey’s second single from her upcoming album Honeymoon, due out in September. The music video, which has already racked up 1.6 million views in a day, is making waves for how freaky it is. Viewers see the ethereal songstress trying to relax for most of the video, before taking a shot at (and completely blowing up) the pesky media helicopter circling her fortress of peace.

After sadly posing for a few wind-blown photos, Del Rey then runs outside to the beach and pulls a large guitar case from beneath the rocks.

Throughout the track, a melancholy Lana croons: “All I wanna do is get high by the beach, high by the beach, get high”.

The video ends with Del Rey walking through her house holding the gun.
