Chelsea: Blues boss plays down Wenger snub
Petr Cech broke a few Arsenal hearts down the years during his glittering Chelsea career but helped the Gunners enjoy a rare victory over Jose Mourinho’s side on Sunday.

On the purported handshake snub of Wenger in the former Monaco gaffer’s first ever win against the self-styled “Special One”, the Chelsea coach denied ever coming up with such tantrum, claiming however, that his counterpart may have done that purposely.
“It was important for the team to get that hurdle out of the way”, said the 65-year-old.
The Premier League champions have five first-team defenders and Mourinho has spoken of his wish to add to his options, but Everton have rebuffed offers for John Stones.
Wenger said the ankle injury that prevented midfielder Jack Wilshere from playing against Chelsea did not appear to be serious.
