‘Inside Out’ Short Film Reveals Riley’s First Date

Remember the young boy at the end of Inside Out, the one whose emotions – Fear, Sadness, Joy, Anger, Disgust – go bananas after Riley talks to him? Ben Cox also provides voice work. Among the extensive list of bonus features are a behind the scenes look at how women filmmakers made their way to careers at the acclaimed studio, and an all-new animated short titled Riley’s First Date? Well, as it turns out there is more to the story than that, and Pixar is ready to share it with you in “Riley’s First Date“. Rileys parents, voiced by Kyle MacLachlan and Diane Lane, are, understandably, freaked out when an adolescent boy shows on their doorstep. Riley’s father considers the situation a red alert, while her mother tries to take the cool approach, using what she thinks is hip tween lingo to discuss the boy with Riley. You won’t even have to wait very long to see it either.

The short will be available on home media releases of Inside Out, starting on the 13th of October 2015 in the States with the Digital HD version, with DVD and blu-ray following on November 3rd.
