GOP Presidential Candidate Takes Aim at California’s Vaccination Law
“Obviously I am really gratified”. Now, the left-leaning polling group PPP is blaring the headline “Fiorina On Fire”. She says she’d love for the public to be able to vote on their smartphones, on whether or not they are ok with our current government. “So none of this is going to go to our heads”. Weird that the media’s focused on her this morning instead of him. Her campaign staff was pleasantly stunned by the newfound enthusiasm – a precious commodity for a person seeking the highest office in the land. She argued for some degree of parental choice back in February when BuzzFeed asked her about it. But now that she’s cracked the GOP field’s top tier, I guess the “gotcha” effort needs to begin in earnest.
(A new CNN/ORC poll Wednesday had good news for Fiorina in Iowa, where her support among likely Republican voters moved up to 7%).
(In other words, she believes in the political system, just not the one that non-millionaires have to use.). We’ll start with her dismal political record.
Rich Baldwin put it a little more bluntly. “And we have had it up to here with career politicians”.
Fiorina said that the U.S. can not let China control a trade route for $5 trillion worth of economic activity each year. HPV is one of the lesser big-deal sexually transmitted diseases, especially for men, and also for women, so long as they get their regular doctor check-ups to make sure the virus doesn’t turn into cancer and kill them.
Taken in context, Fiorina’s statement ought to be uncontroversial. “He has changed his mind on some pretty important things”. Where he actually stands on abortion. “I know they appreciate being heard”. Fiorina has been relentless in her criticism of Clinton, saying she lied about Benghazi.
The vaccine issue has tripped up Republican candidates. “Anyone who paints with a broad brush in those insulting terms is as guilty as Donald Trump“. I’ve met him and we’ve talked way too much to him, but, Vladimir Putin will not stop until he faces, senses, strength and resolve on the other side.
I doubt that Californians who witnessed her tenure at HP or her Senate campaign in 2010 are surprised at the Fiorina of 2015. Her newfound prominence will only make that target a more attractive one.
At a town hall in Iowa, Fiorina said parents should have the right to not vaccinate their kids, but that schools should be able to exclude unvaccinated children from attending classes, according to a Time report.
“When you have highly communicable diseases where you have a vaccine that’s proven, like measles or mumps, then I think a parent can make that choice, but then I think a school district is well within their rights to say, ‘I’m sorry, your child cannot then attend public school, ‘” Fiorina explained to reporters after the event.
Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina touted her business background and promoted her fiscal policies during an economic roundtable in Garner. Because she now has the experience needed to cut the federal workforce.
