Police seek suspects in August 6 bank robberies
WEST HARTFORD-Police are investigating a string of bank robberies in the past week, two of which were committed by the same individual.
The State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect wanted for Robbery. The suspect was given an undetermined amount of cash and left the bank. In both robberies, it was not know how the suspect fled from the area.
Employees at the bank told police that a white male, approximately 40 years old, entered the bank and showed a note demanding money. A search of the area with the assistance of the Bloomfield Police K9, again, had no results.
Police responded to the TD Bank around 2 p.m. on Thursday.
The man is described as white, approximately six feet tall, with a thin build wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, gray sweat trousers, purple latex gloves, carrying an orange gym/knapsack type drawstring bag.
Anyone who has helpful information about the incident or the suspect is asked to contact troopers at 845-677-7300. Police didn’t find the suspect in last week’s robbery at the bank either after a search with the help of a Farmington K-9 unit.
Last week’s TD Bank robbery suspect had a similar physical description.
