Huawei Watch teaser suggests a release date is imminent
As shown on a dedicated webpage where anyone can register to be notified of its availability, the smartwatch will soon hit the market after what feels like months of waiting and speculation as to whether it would ever actually launch.
Huawei initially provided a time frame of “around the middle of the year” for the Android Wear-powered Huawei Watch. The Huawei Watch release date will change that, and it could be one of the first new Android wearables for the latter half of the year.
Let us know what you think about the new Huawei Watch in the comments section below. The Huawei Watch will also sport a sapphire crystal cover and stainless steel frame, along with a heart rate sensor and barometer.
Huawei’s smartwatch takes its cues from classic timepieces, placing Google’s Android Wear OS inside a luxury device with a circular face and metallic build.
This is according to the official Huawei Watch page on Huawei’s website in which the company states that the device is “right around the corner”. The wearable has already passed FCC certification so it’s likely the watch is launching very soon. However, there were no details about when the smart watch would be available.
