Top secret files are found on Clinton’s private email

That investigation, still preliminary, is focusing on how to contain any damage from classified information that might have been put at risk.

You would be hard-pressed to find anyone in Washington that would have said Hillary Clinton wasn’t going to be the nominee for the Democratic Party months ago.

The FBI is investigating Clinton’s personal email server to find out who at the State Department transmitted confidential information to her private email.

For part of her time at the State Department, Abedin had what the Post euphemistically calls a “special employment relationship”. The program involves some of the most secure information in the intelligence agencies’ computer systems. The government protections don’t extend to private accounts. But she sent or received some 60,000 as secretary of state. “None of these emails were marked classified at the time, so I’d refer you to the State Department on their processes”.

A 2009 executive order also specifies that classified information “may not be removed from official premises without proper authorization”.

Other Republicans hit Clinton over the remark.

“The facts are the same as they have been from the very beginning”, she said.

Clinton also said she would create a “SPARK College Scholarship” to help parents pay for their own higher education.

Former intelligence officials say it’s a certainty that her server was compromised by [foreign] intelligence services.
