Donald Trump: Undocumented Immigrants ‘Have to Go’
This would required Trump to rescind President Obama’s executive orders on immigration and undocumented immigrants, which he announced November 20.
“We’re going to keep the families together, but they have to go”, Trump told NBC’s “Meet the Press”, according to an excerpt released on Saturday. When asked what would happen to immigrants who had nowhere to return to, Trump echoed his previous statements.
Trump has made fighting illegal immigration a cornerstone of his run for the White House.
The actual property mogul and tv character, who has rocketed to the highest of… “They’re rapists”, he added. Backlash quickly followed and since then, Trump as attempted to amended his message to include Mexicans as “very good people” with “great spirit”. And a wide variety of corporations severed contracts with Trump, including Macy’s, NASCAR, Univision and NBC – which airs “Meet the Press”. “Chuck, we either have a country, or we don’t have a country”, he said. Trump would go even further, and would fight back against young immigrants who were brought to the states as children.
“We have to make a whole new set of standards” for those immigrating to the US.
Trump has drawn controversy on the topic of immigration since he entered the presidential race June 16. The full interview will air Sunday.
