Tom Brady starts Patriots preseason game

Tom Brady was a surprise starter Thursday night in the Patriots’ first home game since the DeflateGate scandal started seven month ago. As a matter of fact, Brady just came from a court hearing as his case with the NFL is under litigation. After that, both players took the rest of the night off, watching as Jimmy Garoppolo went 20-for-30 for 159 yards and an interception.

Jimmy Garoppolo and the New England Patriots faced a hard situation down by one with 53 seconds remaining in the first half.

Thursday night’s Packers vs. Patriots game has a scheduled start time of 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

“Ups and downs”, Garoppolo said.

He also added in the ESPN report that through the new PAT rule, the ball will already be live but still raised a legitimate concern. I am intrigued to see how Travaris Cadet and James White do in their Patriots debut (well, not White’s debut, but he didn’t see a lot of action in 2014).
