Bradley Cooper Wants to Cook His Way to Immortality in ‘Burnt’ Trailer
Formerly titled Adam Jones (it even got this hilariously boring poster with that name), Burnt finds Cooper playing a celebrity chef who attempts a return to the dining scene after falling down a massive pit of drugs and poor behavior. In addition to Cooper, John Wells directs a cast that includes Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks), Sienna Miller (Foxcatcher), Omar Sy (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Daniel Brühl (Rush), Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction), Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans). He also just finished a run on Broadway as the iconic Elephant Man. If you thought Bradley Cooper was hot before, wait until you see him as a bad boy chef in “Burnt“. At 40 years old, the actor is moving into the kitchen, where he had to learn the ends and outs of cooking and preparing 5 star meals, and the trials and tribulations that come along with that. This trailer features Cooper yelling and screaming and smashing plates and being the kind of charming rogue who wins our heart in the movies but would be totally unbearable in real life. Adam Jones is a two-star Michelin star with bad habits.
In an effort to redeem himself – as well as to win that third Michelin star that’s eluded him for so long – he opens a new restaurant in London, surrounding himself with the brightest culinary talents. “The kitchen’s the only place where I’ve ever felt like I really belonged”. Dip your finger in and take a taste. The Weinstein Company is set to release the movie on October. 23.
