Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale Are Getting Divorced
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have announced they are calling time on their marriage after 13 years.
The music power couple, who Wednesday in 2002, said in a statement Monday that they’re planning to divorce.
Nooo! Gwen Stefani is throwing in the towel on her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, according to a new report.
Currently, the couple have cited irreconcilable differences in their divorce documents with the intention to split custody of their children and their assets.
Being represented by attorney Scott Weston, she is allegedly asking for joint custody of their three sons – Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and Apollo, one.
“Gavin was the love of Gwen’s life and she gave it everything she could and really did everything possible to save the marriage”.
“To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time”.
The 45-year-old No Doubt frontwoman – who dated the band’s bassist Tony Kanal in the late 80s and early 90s – spoke about their marriage earlier this year by insisting it is something they “both want to” succeed. She recently enlisted fellow Voice star Pharrell Williams to record two songs: Shine and Start a War.
In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan in their March 2015 issue, Stefani talked about the difficulties in their relationship: “We go through so much together – it’s a miracle that we could stay together this long“, Stefani said. “You’re gonna get me crying!” “That’s especially important for women”.
While both have remained silent about their split on their respective social medial pages, it’s clear they’ve been going their separate ways. The “Hollaback Girl” singer asked to deny her estranged husband spousal support, the publication said.
