Tiger Woods blasts affair rumours as ‘completely false’ amid claims he’s
Will Tiger Woods and Jason Dufner’s ex-wife, Amanda Boyd, come out eventually to deny all reports accusing them of having a clandestine affair?
Boyd and Dufner divorced back in April and The National Enquirer claims the rumoured affair busted up both couples. The supermarket tabloid claims that Tiger Woods hooked up with Amanda Boyd while he was still dating Lindsey Vonn.
Some say Tiger is an obvious target for Amanda Boyd – assuming she is in search of a friend with benefits. “At first, it was innocent flirting, but earlier this year, it became serious”.
Vonn, the U.S. skier, and Woods split in May after a three-year relationship, while the Dufners had a quick and unexpected divorce the month before.
Attractive brunette Amanda does seem to be the type to catch Tiger’s eye.
The 39-year-old professional golfer asserted as much following a National Enquirer report this week. “It is absolutely 100 per cent false”.
The Daily Mail had previously reported that Tiger cheated on Lindsey back in February during the Farmers Insurance Open.
Woods and ex- wife Elin Nordegren, with whom he has two children, divorced in 2010 after Woods’ serial cheating was exposed in 2009.
Woods’ manager, Mark Steinberg, said in an email to GolfChannel.com: “The report is categorically false. Absolutely, unequivocally untrue. They are not even acquaintances”, he said.
Woods’s performance at last month’s USA Open was interrupted when a plane flew over the course with a banner reading “cheater”. He went on to date Vonn for three years, and their breakup in May was blamed on their busy schedules and long-distance relationship.
