EA Access Subscribers Get Dragon Age Bonus This Week
EA Access members can now download and play “Dragon Age: Inquisition”, along with other titles such as “Titanfall”, “Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare”, “Battlefield 4” and a slew of sports games, Destructoid reported.
Dragon Age: Inquisition players will finally get some new story content with the release of The Descent, a single player DLC expansion that will take players, as the name implies, deep into the underground of Theda to solve a mystery that has been plaguing the land with unnatural earthquakes.
“Patch 9 introduces Pala, the Silent Sister, a new playable multiplayer character”. The Silent Sister is a dwarven warrior who decided to join the Inquisition, choosing exile in the process, to defeat the forces of darkness in Thedas.
Pala the Silent Sister is from Orzammar.
“She builds guard on each hit, and a lot of her abilities can hit multiple enemies, so you really benefit from being surrounded”, Barrett said. This news came as a welcome for Dragon Age fans that had a less-than-convenient experience with previous downloadable contents. According to reports, the new DLC will be introducing players to the Deep Roads of Thedas, a locale in the game.
Bioware announced earlier that they would not be releasing The Descent on last generation consoles. Dragon Age executive producer Mark Darrah confirmed last week that there are even more campaign DLC packs in development. The company has announced it will offer a free multiplayer chest for the game to members of EA Access Vault, between now and August 19.
