PlayStation Experience Happening Once Again In December 2015
The PlayStation Experience is returning once more and is moving away from its Las Vegas venue, where the event admittedly experienced some first-time jitters (that Wikipedia page is, err, short), and changing to San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center.
So what can we expect from the event?
Sony is also making this year’s event a bit more affordable, offering an early bird discounted rate of $60 for the full two-day pass for those who register before September 20th.
The organizers have yet to release a list of PlayStation titles that will be available at the event, but Game Revolution’s website reveals that this would surely include “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End“, “Ratchet &Clank”, “Dark Souls III” and probably some DLC for “The Last Guardian“, “Horizon Zero Dawn” and “Bloodborne“.
The passes are limited, so grab them while you can.
Street Fighter fans will want to strongly consider attending or at least watching for news as the Capcom Cup will be held on December 6. Sony recommends registering using your PlayStation Network ID, hinting that those that do will receive some sort of bonus once the show kicks off. I’m hoping for a longer peek at the Final Fantasy VII remake and The Last Guardian, but that could be a long shot.
Yeah, they’re holding a massive Street Fighter V tournament with a huge $250,000 prize pool. Certainly a hefty sum for those fearless enough to fight for it.
Sony was absent from Gamescom this year but had a comparatively lackluster showing at E3 2015.
Sony also announced that tickets will be cheaper this year. It surely leaves us in anticipation of the event. Let us know in the comments!
