‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 5 Release Date, Cast, Spoilers: Rumpelstiltskin’s
HollywoodLifers, are you excited for Once Upon A Time season five?
In the clip below, the Emma has just disappeared after taking on the darkness in order to save Regina’s life – thus becoming the new Dark One.
“Dark one, with this dagger, I command thee, return”, he says, as Henry, Mary Margaret/Snow and Charming/David stand and watch, clearly distraught over the event that took Emma away.
“Once Upon A Time Season 5” has released already a sneak peek video as a teaser for the upcoming premiere date. For some reason, Hook cannot summon Emma to him, which, according to Regina, suggests Emma is not presently in Storybrooke (which would explain why she was in Rumplestiltskin’s cell in the Enchanted Forest in the clip shown at San Diego Comic-Con in July).
As viewers of Once Upon A Time would know, Emma has always been the good guy in the TV series. However, she admits that her character is very much anxious for Emma’s fate as the new host of darkness.
Meanwhile, Emma is reportedly trying to come into terms with her new power and strength. For starters, attendees were treated to a footage that showed the scenes in the first minute of the season premiere.
Executive producer Adam Horowitz then said that Amy Manson was “fantastic” in playing the character from “Brave“. To further validate the concept of Emma’s Dark Swan getting mentored by the former Dark One, Rumpelstiltskin, a photo of the two in the same place was included in the piece. O’Donoghue even compared Hook’s feelings for Emma to how Belle feels for Rumple when he is still the Dark One. “It’s a different thing”, Carlyle added in the EW report. While this could pave the way for a split personality disorder angle in Once Upon A Time Season 5, it remains to be seen if such will be the case. Consequently, the Dark One’s powers do not function like they did when Rumplestiltskin boasted the title since Emma is no longer in the same realm as her family.
