Sam Smith joins Madame Tussauds collection in San Francisco

To get an idea of just where Azalea Banks may be coming from, the sculpture of Nicki Minaj is one of her barely dressed, on her hands and knees, a known position of submission. The tourist attraction features Minaj in a bikini and chains from Minaj’s “Anaconda” music video.

Nicki Minaj was positively delighted to show off her spanking new Madame Tussauds wax figure, causing all of the websites, us included, to fall in love all over again. In fact, she called the figure “iconic” and even posted a picture on Instagram of her fans posing with the statue and holding its breasts and butt.

Azealia Banks is not pleased with Madame Tussauds’ depiction of famed female emcee Nicki Minaj. Online, the “212” rapper took to Twitter to voice her thoughts on the figure to her followers Wednesday. And she found it especially offensive that it was on all fours.

Although Banks spoke out in support of Minaj, recognizing both her talent and accomplishments, the pair don’t have the best history.

The popular presenter is now joining the gallery of lifelike waxworks at the Madame Tussauds museum in Sydney, and his family has made sure the mannequin is as realistic as possible by donating the star’s famous outfit for the dummy to wear. Minaj had gone on a Twitter rant about not being nominated for Video of the Year at the VMAs, pointing out how black women are often excluded in the music industry. In the meantime, Azalea Banks continued to tweet about “white people yo”, and suggested that Nicki Minaj demand a redo.

However, Banks did admit that “Anaconda” was a “good video” and said, “I think she’s talented enough and has worked hard enough to not play the game anymore”.
