Campaigners demand Samsung brings the Galaxy Note 5 to Europe

The new edge+ has a screen half an inch bigger than the previous model – at 5.7 inches – giving it a larger display than the iPhone 6 Plus.

As for the specifications, there’s no denying that the beefy Note 5 is a more powerful device. “Each new version has been more popular than the last”, said Justin Denison, vice president of product strategy and marketing for Samsung Electronics America.

Traditionally Samsung has always launched the Note series at the IFA in Berlin in September, but this year the Korean-tech giant pushed forward the launch date. This is certainly a marketplace that Samsung has owned in the past, but this could be changing considering the success that Apple Inc. You won’t find any of that in the iPhone 6 Plus.

The watch also seems to feature a neat user interface. By June, however, Bloomberg reported that it had been delayed and would instead arrive with the next Galaxy Note device. This is perhaps surprising considering that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is ostensibly a brand new device, but in reality Samsung has, of course, simply built upon the existing Galaxy Note Edge for this phablet.

Samsung’s not making the same mistake twice, improving on its manufacturing process to produce more Edge+, and including a larger 5.7-inch screen in a package that is only 12 millimeters longer and 5 millimeters wider. That’s basically the story of the S6 edge+. The move to use premium materials started with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which were released into the market this year. Also, there is a Mali GPU powering all the graphics and gaming performance on the S6 edge+. But the actual design of the two devices diverges significantly. But if you want raw PPI, the S6 edge will still be out.

Despite its 5.7in display, however, it doesn’t come with Samsung’s S Pen stylus which is reserved for the Galaxy Note Range.

Which brings us to the Galaxy Note Edge. The device will feature a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Last but not least, Samsung’s mid-range Android tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM. However, we should also say that there appear to be many people who are not bothered at all about the Note 5 not coming Europe. There are phablets on the market with larger cells than this, but Samsung insists that power saving functionality included in the Android operating system will easily compensate.
