Stevie Wonder Performing Free Pop-Up Concert in DC
One of those performances is happening in Knoxville at the Thompson-Boling Arena on November 10, 2015.
Ted Mankin, vice president of booking at Live Nation, told radio station WTOP this morning that it’s part of a three-city tour Wonder will be doing today, starting in Washington, D.C. and ending in New York City. The Montreal date kicks off the tour’s final leg.
The D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development says Wonder performed a few songs at the D.C. Armory Mall on Monday. You can buy them through LiveNation.com and the Live Nation mobile app.
“This is the second leg of a tour that started past year”.
WNEW’s Chuck Carroll is at the pop-up concert and will provide updates on the show.
