Arkham Knight 1989 Movie DLC Preview
As it happens, the final installment in the studio’s series centered around the World’s Greatest Detective took the top software sales spot in June, and only fell to second place in the market during July.
Batman: Arkham Knight players will also be able to access six new costumes for three characters starting next week.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the the theatrical release of Batman, starring Michael Keaton as the Dark Knight, Rocksteady Studios will release the 1989 Batmobile as part of the DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight next week. The rumor has yet to be confirmed by anyone, including Warner Bros., so for now, it is just a rumor.
The details and footage comes from the newest episode of Arkham Insider (posted below) on the official Batman Arkham YouTube channel.
Rocksteady reveals that the retro Batmobile is longer and lighter than the regular in-game vehicle, which allows the track design to feature sharper bends than in previous circuits.
Earlier this month, a Red Hood story and Harley Quinn DLC has been released, which was actually a pre-order story DLC for the video game. The new patch gives players a sneak peek into the “Crime Fighter Challenge Pack 1”, rumored to be coming by next month. Since the handling has improved, there are tighter corners in the tracks than in the main game. Not to mention, the game designer controlling Tim Drake racks up a pretty impressive score before going down, as the final tally is upwards of 500,000 points. It was noted, however, that all these DLCs were only available for Season Pass holders of the video game.
