Phantasy Star Online 2 Goes PS4 in 2016
Sega is set to launch free-to-play MMO Phantasy Star Online 2 on PlayStation 4 in Japan.
The on the web RPG, already designed for Computer and PlayStation Vita, will still be relegated in the Asian trade.
Sorry, folks. There’s still no word on an official English language release for Phantasy Star Online 2 in North America. Through a translation by Dengeki Online, we see some information and new screens for the upcoming title.
The Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation group should have a truly authentic tale, and of course the legend is going to adopt PSO2 gamers “who could be near…”
While “Phantasy Star Online 2” won’t be coming to PS4 till sometime in the next year, the game will be playable during Tokyo Game Show 2015.
Sega also announced that a content update called “Reborn: Episode 4” will be launching for the PS Vita and PC versions of the game.
Sega once had a plan to release the game on these shores, but the last we heard of it was in September 2012 during PAX.
