Tom Jones Slams Exec for Dropping Him From BBC’s ‘The Voice UK’
And Liz Pearce wrote: “Well done Market Rasen, this was a great racing day and a fantastic concert, the organisation seemed brilliant and Sir Tom…you certainly rocked”.
It wasn’t until the third series of The X Factor that it found its first worldwide star in victor Leona Lewis.
Despite having the most commercial success of any of the former “Voice” stars, Bo hasn’t exactly had an easy time since leaving the competition, quitting her record label after two singles due to a “lack of support” and eventually checking into rehab for exhaustion.
“Our positive contribution to the programme was much appreciated, with that appreciation often verbally expressed by those we worked with in production right up to the end of series four”.
“You have only to look at the screen to judge if I was “disengaged”. All of which sound incredibly healthy to us, but what do we know, eh?
Meanwhile, Sir Tom posted on Facebook that he only discovered he wouldn’t be going back to the hit show The Voice the day before the new panel was revealed.
After performing with legends like Kylie Minogue and Justin Timberlake in the space of a year thanks to his appearance on “The Voice”, Jamie has now said he’s determined to make a splash in America, insisting: “I just don’t want half the cake, I want the whole cake”.
“That the executives in charge couldn’t be ladies and gentlemen about it, that they were filled with paranoia about a “leak” above all, is deeply insulting to our professionalism”.
A spokesperson said, “The final decision on the coaches’ line up for series 5 of The Voice was only taken on Wednesday and Tom’s team was informed early yesterday morning”.
“This has been the same every year and no role was ever promised”, a BBC spokeswoman said.
Sir Tom fumed: “I was told with no consultation or conversation of any kind that I would not be returning”.
He added: “Being informed, as a matter of duty and respect, is an important part of creative relationships”.
“This sub-standard behaviour from executives is very disappointing”.
The show’s new coach is said to be following a Metabolic Plan diet and has called for a ban on lemons and cauliflower, amongst other foodstuffs, on set.
