Thom Yorke announces separation from his girlfriend Rachel Owens

Thom Yorke, singer for Radiohead has separated from his partner and mother of his children Rachel Owen after 23 years.

“Rachel and I have separated”. After 23 highly creative and pleased years, for various reasons we have gone our separate ways.

The pair met at Exeter University, where she studied Fine Art Printmaking and he read Fine Art and English.

He is said to be now working on Radiohead’s ninth album. Getty York insisted the split was “perfectly amicable” “It is completely amicable & has-been frequent knowledge for a while”. In February, guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed that the band had “changed their method” and had been recording for “a couple of months”.

“We’re kind of limiting ourselves; working in limits”. It’s like we’re trying to use very old and very new technology to see what happens.
