Swansea sign Falkirk striker
Swansea City have been very active in the transfer market so far this summer and now in another addition to the Swans’ squad, it can be revealed that the Welsh side have completed the signing of Botti Biabi.
The 32-year-old, cleared by the SPFL to play, despite being an unused substitute as a trialist for Livingston in the previous round – netted in an U20s game against Hibernian last week and has been snapped up until January.
Miller, capped three times, was released by Kilmarnock this summer.
“I would have liked to have kept him for another season”.
The 32-year-old started out at Falkirk and will add to his 73 appearances after signing a “short-term deal”.
Other, more ambitious “add-ons”, could earn the Bairns more money.
Falkirk boss Peter Houston admitted last month the club would be powerless to stop Biabi leaving if Swansea’s interest was firmed up, and it now appears a move is imminent. How can you deny a young player the opportunity?
“Botti’s been very lucky he’s been chosen by Swansea to go down there”.
“He’s had his medical but that’s all we know at this stage”, said Houston.
The Scottish youth global has signed a three-year contract with City and becomes the third Falkirk player in 18 months to make the move.
The 19-year-old will join up with the U21 squad in a £150,000 deal.
Jay Fulton and Stephen Kingsley previously left the Scottish Championship club for Swansea.
