Amy Schumer crashes Irish wedding

Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow took their “Trainwreck” all the way to Ireland, and made a special stop for a pair of lucky newlyweds.
“Trainwreck” is the new film from Judd Apatow, the gifted comic director responsible for “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”, “Knocked Up” and “This is 40”. So I was screaming and I was sure I was going to die. “I’m not a stick, but I feel very much like a woman, and I want to show that”. “We just happened to be there for a pint when the married couple came in”. I thought that was really amusing. Well, it helps if you’re a celebrity, and it’s an even bigger plus if you’re willing to do some impromptu entertaining (just ask Bono).

It followed the fatal shooting of two women at a screening of her film in Louisiana.
She also criticised proposals to slash funding to mental health services.

The comedian, who also wrote the screenplay for the movie, was at Dublin’s Savoy Cinema for the Irish premiere on Friday.
