Green Arrow To Fight Stardust at WWE SummerSlam
As a fan, I like sports entertainers who tell a story in the ring.
WWE Tag Team champions The Prime Time Players defeated The New Day in a non-title match.
ROCKS!…NEW…DAY ROCKS! The fans Felt the Power as Raw came back from commercial to face Los Matadores. But then came PCB (previously working commentary) with a vicious attack to set up what should be a fun bout at “SummerSlam“. Cena is now at 15 in his career, and as we all know, the official number for Flair is 16.
Whereas most shows are passable, the key happenings covered on Raw or even via WWE’s YouTube channel, this week’s broadcast looks like one worth checking out. We can’t keep pushing Charlotte’s “genetic superiority” thing when they put all the white girls on one team and all the people of color on the others, right? Not likely. The lawyers and legal staff at WB signing off on Amell, the star of their hit show and the person responsible for breathing life into the waning WB lineup, letting him jump into the ring where me might get injured and not be able to perform?
Ziggler is reportedly back (in a live event held at British Columbia) so expect him to get it on with Rusev. Will it really take place this time? All this and more tonight on Monday Night Raw.
The show kicked off by a tribute to Roddy Piper of Portland. I still thought they could have done a better job playing up what happened at WrestleMania earlier this year, where Orton actually beat Rollins, only for Rollins to become champion later in the show with the MITB contract.
Finally, Nikki Bella, the legal member of her team, starts to mount some offense, just as we head to a mid-match commercial break.
Stephen Amell and Neville will face Stardust and King Barrett at WWE Summerslam on August 23rd, 2015.
Afterwards, Stephen and Neville got spoken to by Triple H, who yelled at him for jumping into the ring! It was wise of them to go with a tag team match as opposed to a singles affair since it allows Amell to be protected while showcasing Neville. Win, lose, or draw; Amell returns to The CW on Wednesday night, October 7th for the premiere of Arrow Season 4.
In an outstanding match, Luke Harper defeating Dean Ambrose off of a Discus Clothesline and a big win, both proving they’re the future (kudos to JBL on the Pillman-Hollywood Blondes Reference). IT WAS HAPPENING! The Undertaker appeared in the ring and took out Brock with two vicious tombstones before making his exit. He did not. Even the heels don’t seem to like him very much. He did not. – The Miz, after Daniel Bryan led a thunderous “SEA!” He wants another title shot but out comes Cesaro.
