Maisie Williams Films In the Water for ‘Game of Thrones’ Season Six
Maisie, who rose to fame portraying Arya Stark in HBO’s hit fantasy series, revealed that the pair met up to get to know one another before getting up close and personal on set.
Game of Thrones has been partly filmed in Northern Ireland since 2011. However, when it came to fellow cast members asking her about “Game of Thrones“, she says that she would threaten to spoil details about the next episode or the next season in order to fend off any probing questions.
During the filming, the actress appeared to be screaming, wailing off into the distance while contorting her face into a pained expression in contrast to the huge grin which she flashed in-between the takes.
“It was extremely awkward!” the actress told Vulture in a recent interview. “But [co-star] Joe [Cole] was very sensitive to the fact that I had never done a scene like this before, and it was great to work with someone who was so considerate of that”, the young actress revealed.
The movie is about an all-girls boarding school in 1960s England, and Maisie’s character somehow meets a guy and ends up falling in love.
Maisie Williams has filmed her first ever sex scene. People are talking to you and you have no idea what they’re speaking about or what they mean.
Williams also shared a few anecdotes from the set of The Falling, which involved her co-star Maxine Peake being extremely closed off towards her. She later found out that Maxine was requested by the director to cut communications with her, since their on-screen characters weren’t supposed to be sharing a healthy relationship. Don’t! You can’t give any spoilers!’ So that was really, really good. It was a pretty big deal to her but she knew that she just needed to get it over with.
