Fox boss reportedly told Trump to make nice or ‘go to war’
The Motor City Madman said, “I’m afraid the gorgeous, stunning, otherwise professional and tuned-in Megyn Kelly absolutely fell of the cliff of political correctness when she proposed that obnoxious, meaningless, nonsensical, biased question for Donald Trump”.
Several polls conducted in the last couple of days show that Donald Trump is still in the lead among all the contenders to be the Republican nominee for the upcoming presidential race. And that’s what FOX News’s Megyn Kelly is doing in the wake of Trump’s disgustingly rude comments about “blood coming out of [Kelly’s] wherever”. Trump, who is the front-runner, will not apologize, and I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism.
Fox News chairman Roger Ailes woke up Monday morning thinking that his network and Donald Trump’s campaign had reached an understanding.
“Having been involved in three presidential campaigns, no one understood the dynamic in play with Trump better than Roger”, said the source.
While Trump initially doubled down on his criticism of Megyn Kelly, he softened his tone on women in a phone interview with CNN this week, saying, “I cherish women”.
“I love what he says especially about illegal immigration”, said Mike Hass, a Trump supporter. “And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far”.
In a statement to Business Insider, Ailes said the “blunt” conversation healed the rift between his network and Trump.

Without action, he added, “pretty soon all we’re going to have is nursing home jobs”. If you think I was talking about something else, you’re a deviant. Rand Paul, once a favorite of libertarians and younger voters who was near the top of polls earlier in the year, has now resorted to taking shots at Trump.
Addressing what she referred to the “dustup” for the first time on her show Monday night, Kelly defended what she described as a “tough but fair question” during the debate. Trump’s appeal is also based on his appearance as an anti-establishment candidate who is not beholden to any large donors and willing to take on those is power, even FOX News as reflected in his dispute with Kelly. But I’ve never experienced this phenomenon with questions asked of a presidential candidate.
Kelly’s first question to Trump recounted how he’d disparaged women with terms like “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals”.
“I want to run as a Republican, but I’m going to keep the door open”.
