Florence Henderson to join final ‘Dancing with the Stars’ cruise
Longtime “Dancing With the Stars” pro Karina Smirnoff is waltzing her way back onto the show.
“Dancing with the Stars” fans will pleased to hear that Karina Smirnoff is returning to the show!
The weekly also revealed Val Chmerkovskiy (who won last season with Rumer Willis) and Witney Carson (who last danced with Chris Soules) would return as well. “I was doing it for the last 10 years”, Smirnoff said. “Of course I missed it too but to be honest your encouragement and support really drove me to make this decision to come back for season 21!”
She dazzled on the dance floor for 16 seasons of Dancing With The Stars and now is ready to Rumba again.
Last season Smirnoff did not appear as a professional dancer on the show.
The 37-year-old has made it to the finals four different times, winning with J.R. Martinez in Season 13, but after two poor showings where she only placed 11th back to back in 2014, Karina decided to leave the show to focus on her book, We’re Just Not That Into You: Dating Disasters from the Trenches.
“Dancing with the Stars” did not confirm the cast for the 21st season, but some fan favorites from last season were rumored to be back.
She is one of the most steady stars on the ABC hit.
Co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will return this fall along with judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Julianne Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, now engaged to Shawn Booth, is rumored to be one of the celebrities ABC is considering for the upcoming season of DWTS.
“I’m excited and a little nervous”, admits Smirnoff.
