Liv Tyler shares first photos of adorable six-month-old son Sailor

And it appears the cute snap also caught the attention of a famous name, as one fan commented that soccer star David Beckham had favourited it. The dad-of-four is close pals with Liv’s beau Dave and earlier this year it was reported David is Sailor’s godfather.

On Instagram, the 38-year-old shared two photos of the infant, writing, “Our handsome baby boy – Sailor Gene Gardner – 6 months old – so so sooooo in love and grateful”.

Shortly after Liv gave birth, her spokesperson revealed the baby was “happy and healthy” despite being born six weeks ahead of schedule.

The little bundle of joy can be seen looking up to camera in the black and white shot as he lies in bed in an all-in-one. “Getting stronger!!!!!”

Following Sailor’s birth in February, however, she’s kept him relatively anonymous, playing coy by only posting photos that didn’t show his face. Sailor joins Milo, 10, Tyler’s son with ex-husband Royston Langdon and Gray, 7, Gardner’s son from a previous marriage. Just last week, Tyler posted a pic of her Leftovers costar, newlywed Justin Theroux, meeting her son on the set of the HBO series.

He said: “Our gorgeous baby boy…Sailor Gene Gardner. I feel so blessed in all parts of my life”, the actress shared.
