Tom Brady set to appear in court Wednesday
What should fantasy football owners expect from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in 2015? The Patriots are agreed to be scheduled to be in Sulphur Springs, W.Va., on Wed.
The Patriots travel to West Virginia later this afternoon in preparation for joint practices with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Patriots star is going out of his way to attend the talks as Judge Richard Berman previously ruled Brady and Commissioner Roger Goodell didn’t need to return to court for Wednesday’s hearing, per Ben Volin of the Boston Globe.
Tom Brady isn’t the only one who believes that his four-game suspension for Deflategate is too harsh, it turns out that most of Brady’s NFL brethren feel the same way. USA Today Sports first reported Brady’s plans to attend. On the other hand, the NFL is not tipping its hand either way on who will be attending from their side.
According to a player survey taken by ESPN.com this month, 78 percent of players feel that Brady’s suspension should be fewer than four games. Being in the courtroom shows Berman that Brady is invested in being part of the discussions toward a resolution, something that could curry favor with the judge in the event that a settlement can’t be reached and a ruling must be made from the bench.
