Steelers move on from Tajh Boyd
Boyd was originally drafted by the New York Jets in the Sixth Round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Steelers added Boyd to their offseason roster in March.
Boyd had struggled through much of training camp, ball security being a paramount concern for the quarterback. Boyd never even got the chance to play in a preseason game with the Steelers, who elected to go with Landry Jones in each of the games up to this point.
