Danica Patrick Signs Multi-Year Sponsorship Deal With Nature’s Bakery For 2016
Even though Patrick is in a contract year, one in which long-time primary sponsor GoDaddy announced it would not return beyond 2015, Patrick says she never opened negotiations with any team other than Stewart-Haas. Not surprisingly, NASCAR’s most marketable driver had no problem locking down a new backer, with Nevada-based snacks and food company Nature’s Bakery becoming her primary sponsor for 2016 and beyond. “Nature’s Bakery provides “Energy for Life’s Great Journeys” and we’re very proud to embark upon this NASCAR journey with Danica and Stewart-Haas Racing”. She also promotes a healthy lifestyle, which Nature’s Bakery founder Dave Marson said fits with his brand. Patrick quickly became one of the most popular drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, winning the Sprint Fan Vote for the All-Star Race twice out of the last three years. She finished 25th in this past weekend’s Pure Michigan 400.
This season, Patrick has two top-10s finishes with a career best finish of seventh at Martinsville.
“We purchase Haas Automation machinery”, Dave Marson who founded the company with his son Sam in 2010 said. “Nature’s Bakery is a natural fit with Danica”. Its deal with Patrick means no more neon green paint for her No. 10. “She has played an important role in the growth of all the businesses associated with her and our growth as a race team”. Patrick won the pole position for the 2013 Daytona 500.
“Our brands align so perfectly, it’s kind of awesome”, Patrick said during the press conference unveiling her new sponsor at the team’s North Carolina headquarters on Tuesday. “We use their machinery in our company”.
