Metal Gear Solid’s 90s radio drama gets an English fan dubbing
In 1998, longtime Metal Gear military adviser Motosada Mori wrote an audio drama for Japanese radio simply called Metal Gear Solid.
It does however hype the mystery we’re all waiting to see unfold during the game’s events: Big Boss’ turn into a villain.
Nearly 17 years later, the original Metal Gear Solid stills holds up better than most games from that era, largely due to the tight gameplay and top tier story.
Sony and Konami are going all out to promote Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, teaming up to release a new range of electrical products based on the upcoming game. On September 1st, the company will release the second part of Metal Gear Solid 5 called Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. No news on why they changed its released date, but one thing is for sure, fans who have pre-ordered a copy of the “MGSV: The Phantom Pain” is in for the gift copy of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes“.
That means fans have one more Kojima directed trailer to look forward to, which will most likely be his last. PC users will have to wait a bit longer, because it will not be available for PC until 2016. If you don’t need a new smartphone or slate, they’ve even included Walkman ZK with some Metal Gear tunes.
Apparently, when the game arrives a few weeks from now, the condition of your character’s blood will depend on how much injury it sustained, also characters would have to get wet in the rain or take a shower before their bloody bodies get all cleaned up.
Microsoft’s also offering a deal that will give pre-orderers a $10 Xbox gift card digital code within 10 days after the game’s release on September 1st.
