Watford to eye Liverpool striker Balotelli
The Italy worldwide has flopped spectaculary at Anfield after signing for Brandon Rodgers last season.
Fiorentina and Lazio are two other clubs who have been linked with Borini in recent weeks, but no concrete offer has been made yet.
If true, it is the second loan bid for 24-year-old, after Roma were also knocked back last week.
However, newly promoted Watford have now stepped up and showed interest in not only Mario Balotelli but also Fabio Borini of Liverpool.
Sky Italia says Balotelli is set to be given a Premier League lifeline by Watford.
Christian Benteke has already equalled Balotelli’s Premier League goal record with Liverpool.
Balotelli is believed to be available for around £7m.
Another potential midfield option for Liverpool is Paris Saint-Germain’s Thiago Motta.
He said: “My job is to create the best possible environment for the team to succeed”. Will he still be at Liverpool when the transfer window closes?
“Come to Sampdoria and you will not regret it, together we will do great things”, is the general tone of Cassano’s texts to Balotelli, according to Gazzetta.
“That’s what I’ve always done”.
