Tuskegee Airman, 93, carjacked after being robbed, stopping for help Sunday
In two separate incidents on the same night, 93-year-old man who has not been identified but was described as a Tuskegee Airman was robbed and then had his car stolen while lost in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. Police in St. Louis are asking for the public’s help in locating the victim’s car. Usually, anything involving the Tuskegee Airmen is given the proper attention.
The 93-year-old victim got lost driving to his daughter’s house, the newspaper reported, citing police reports. He pulled over at McPherson and Sarah to call her. That’s when a man jumped into his car and took his money. The suspect took cash from the victim’s pant pocket. The victim then stopped at Page and Walton. They have released a photo of a similar car and the license plate for the stolen car.
The victim then drove to an intersection and asked two men there for help – but the men instead got in the victim’s Maroon 2012 Honda Accord Sedan and drove away.
That’s all I’ll say about this, because Ta-Nehisi Coates hasn’t tweeted about it yet and I don’t want to risk contradicting him.
