Harry Connick Jr.’s Daughter Georgia Arrested for Allegedly Providing Alcohol
Musician/actor Harry Connick Jr.’s daughter is accused of providing alcohol to underage guests at a party she hosted this past weekend at her family’s New Canaan home while her parents were away, according to New Canaan police.
A 1:01 a.m. Saturday call to police ended an underage-drinking party on West Road near Dans Highway, New Canaan police said. Police found a large group of youths attempting to flee the party unsuccessfully through a heavily wooded area next to the house, Ferraro said.
She told police that she had several friends at the house and things got out of control as more people arrived, police said.
There were numerous empty and full beer cans on the property.
Apparently, the 19-year-old is being charged with allowing minors to possess alcohol as well as procuring alcohol for minors. According to police, the parents of about 15 kids – who were ages 18 to 20 – were called following the incident. Harry and his wife Jill Goodacre were not home at the time and Georgia told officers that swarms of people showed up to what was supposed to be a small gathering.
