Mary Berry lets slip name of latest Great British Bake Off loser
The 80-year-old TV chef – who presents alongside Paul Hollywood – was being interviewed by BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans when she let slip the name of the person who failed to get into the next round.
Well we’ve already lost two.
If you love the thrill and uncertainty of the Great British Bake Off, hit the back button on your browser now: Mary Berry has mistakenly revealed which contestant is knocked out next.
Viewers have only seen two contestants leave the show.
Clearly oblivious that she was dropping a major spoiler, the baker continued: “Marie, ****** and on the first week it was lovely chap with the little hat on”.
Evans tried to move past the mistake, by interjecting: “You lose one tonight – you know that but we don’t!” before swiftly moving on while Berry remained quiet.
Oh well, seems like Dorret is for it. Cheers for the spoiler, Mary! “YOU HAD ONE JOB MARY!!!!” wrote one exasperated fan.
She was speaking live on radio this morning.
Berry mistakenly thought three episodes of the series had aired.
Mary also discussed what was happening on tonight’s show – revealing it is bread week. “It had to be 3D and it is extraordinary”.
She said: “Yes we have”.
