Trump says he’ll release policy specifics soon
Among the 34% who say they have made up their mind or are leading toward a candidate, Trump’s lead grows, and the top of the field shifts.
According to CNN, after Trump went full-Trump on Fox News host Megyn Kelly last week (complete with insinuations about her menstrual cycle), chairman Roger Ailes called Trump up and gave him a simple choice: either the two could “resolve this now” or “go to war”.
Then came the date many people expected would be Trump’s downfall: the GOP debate. For her part, Kelly said she wouldn’t apologize for asking the pointed questions that she chose.

“As we get closer to the January debate in Iowa, Fox News will announce the criteria for participation – which has not yet been determined – and invitations will be extended to all candidates who meet that criteria”, a Fox News representative said. Many were likely captivated by curiosity over what frontrunner Donald Trump would do or say – and shouldn’t have been disappointed – but polls show that he didn’t win the night in the eyes of Republicans.
