Galatasaray reject West Ham United bid for Burak Yilmaz
West Ham United are set to table an improved offer of €7 million according to NTV Spor after their initial bid of €5 million was turned down by the Lions. The 30-year-old has been prolific in Turkey and despite his age, he could still do a job in the Premier League.
Yilmaz has earned plaudits around Europe’s biggest clubs after consistently building on his supremely impressive goalscoring form in the Turkish Super Lig managing 57 goals in 87 appearances.
However, despite interest and rumours of an approach, Galatasaray have received no bids for their star striker and are not willing to sell him anyway.
‘But our player didn’t demand to leave and also our club has no thought of selling him’.
Irons boss Slaven Bilic is keen to reinforce his options up front after losing Enner Valencia to injury and with Andy Carroll already on the sidelines.
