Official Album Chart update: Bullet For My Valentine on course for first
It looks as if Bullet For My Valentine are on track to reach No. 1 in the UK album chart, with only the late Cilla Black standing in their way.
Cilla Black’s The Very Best Of re-entered the Top 40 at Number 14 two weeks ago following the 72-year-old’s death.
Bullet for My Valentine are now streaming “Broken”, the latest single from their album Venom, which landed last week.
It can be confirmed that Dead Letter Circus currently sit less than 500 units away from toppling Bullet, although in what could be considered a telling sign, as of right now Dead Letter’s album is positioned ahead of Venom on the iTunes chart.
Other notable entries in the albums chart include fellow Welshies Neck Deep, whose second record “Life’s Not Out To Get You” is now at number 7, and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, who enter at number 13 with “Blossom”. Her “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself” is now in the Number One spot and, should it stay there, will become her fifth Number One hit; a record for a British solo female only held by Fernandez-Versini.
The full chart rundown is announced on BBC Radio 1 this Friday (August 21).
