All Grand Tournament cards revealed for Hearthstone
A new patch was released for Blizzard‘s Hearthstone yesterday, and it hasn’t taken long for hardcore enthusiasts to datamine the contents of the patch and see if any clues may be found regarding the game’s upcoming Grand Tournament expansion. It will also introduce a new mechanic and keyword: Inspire. Blizzard has revealed 132 cards in all that can be viewed from a Hearthstone Facebook album.
All expansion cards are now laid on the table to let the theory-crafting begin. From its initial launch for the PC, to its expansion to mobile devices, the card game has obviously won the hearts of many gamers regardless of whether or not they are “World of Warcraft” fans. They include new quests, along with the new Hearthstone Tournament Grounds back which you can get by reaching rank 20 or higher in ranked play throughout August. One gives the minion windfury for a turn.
Wednesday’s Grand Tournament Match features a thrilling Brawl between two potent forces. It is sure to help juice sales of the Hearthstone expansion pre-order deal as well.
If the player who activated the Joust gets a higher value card than his opponent, his minion will gain some perks.
Despite using mechanics seen in most free-to-play games, “Hearthstone” has been praised by critics and mobile gamers alike for providing an engrossing and addictive experience. Additionally, the Arena rewards are being altered so that players can choose between receiving a Classic Pack, Goblins vs Gnomes Pack, or a Grand Tournament pack instead of receiving just the GvG pack.
