UFC fighter Anthony Johnson goes off on woman in brutal Facebook post
After his hateful and distasteful rant on Facebook about an encounter with an “ugly” woman from his gym, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Anthony Johnson today issued an apology.
-In 2012, he allegedly punched the mother of his children in the face, knocking two of her teeth out.
Last night, Johnson got on Facebook to boast about an altercation he got into with a woman at a gym.
The disgusting post has since been deleted, but Johnson confirms in two tweets that it was actually him who wrote it.
“Sorry to everyone else too for having to witness me getting upset about a argument in the gym”. And maybe she was stretching in the way of people trying to lift weights.
The man known as “Rumble” is due to fight Jimi Manuwa at UFC 191 on September 25 in Las Vegas.
“Talking about it was rude that I lifted next to you while you were stretching”. I’ve been through worse! In a statement at the time, the UFC said, “The UFC organization will not tolerate domestic violence, sexual assault or any other violation of its Code of Conduct”. Just like the guy said you live in his neighborhood and you exaggerate and overreact all the time…
According to his Facebook post, the pair argued over her stretching near where he was lifting weights and that he threw her yoga mat across the gym. “Good girl… One more thing stop wearing sports bras when your tummy look like a old country red clay dirt road”. He was also arrested on felony charges of domestic violence, battery with a special relationship, criminal threats and damaging a cell phone for a separate June 2009 incident.
Johnson was sentenced to three years probation, community service and forced to attend domestic violence counseling after pleading nolo contendere.
