South Korean tech major and smartphone manufacturer Samsung has launched its high-end flagship phablet – the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India today.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset, alongside 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, while on the back it has a 16 MP camera, with optical image stabilization.
When the first Samsung Galaxy Note series smartphone came out, many thought the company was a little bit insane with this novel idea. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Samsung has taken battery life very seriously and offers fast charging as well the option for a wireless charger, which can be bought with the phone for around Rs 3,599. The phone is also equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, support for microUSB 2.0 and Global Positioning System. 9 / LTE Cat. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor. This cover will be available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Black Sapphire, and White Pearl color variants.
Speaking of OS, the video also appears to confirm this guy will be running Tizen, which likely means only Samsung owners will be able to use this device. Boo.
In addition, as part of its efforts to gain more supporters, Samsung Pay is only available for owners of the company’s devices. By utilising magnetic secure transmission and near field communication technologies, Samsung Pay will work with the majority of existing point-of-sale (PoS) terminals. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is available for pre-order in the country. Most of premium phones planned for release this year will benefit from the new feature.
