Ciara Talks Relationship Double Standards on ‘CBS This Morning’
Ciara stopped by CBS This Morning to chat with host Gayle King about drama surrounding her and the father of her child, Future, parenting decisions that have caused an uproar on social media, as well as, remaining in a celibate relationship with new boyfriend Russel Wilson. The “I Bet” singer accused Future of creating a double-standard. Ciara has been seen on red carpets, stages and shopping around town with her NFL boo and most recently, she’s brought her baby, Future (the son she shares with the rapper of the same name) around Russell and the snapshots that have hit the Internet is obviously outrageous to some.
‘If I was a kid, and my momma had some dude pushing me, I would’ve jumped out the stroller and slapped the sh*t out of him, ‘ the Karate Chop hitmaker said in an interview with New York’s Power 105.1 last month. You do not even bring a human being around your son.
One of those guys was T.I., who has worked with both Ciara and Future.
“Of course I wouldn’t want anyone to push my son. That’s what people have to think about instead of kind of like shouting out things”.
While Ciara said she reached out to Future to talk about Wilson, her ex did not want to speak to her.
First, the “Commas” crooner opened up about his sex life with Ciara when he stopped by HuffPost Live and spoke more about her during an interview on “The Breakfast Club”. More than anything it is a child that we’re talking about.
She admitted that refraining from getting it on with her main squeeze is certainly a “great challenge”, but it has allowed them to grow closer as a couple!
“People are gonna talk about me, I was built for this, this is what I’m supposed to be doing,” Ciara said. “But I guess he was just speaking the reality of what is really going on”. It got serious.” He explained, “Of course I don’t want somebody pushing my son, like that’s the number one rule. It’s like: Remove the adults from the situation.
“And to the guys who have such an opinion, know your facts!” That’s what comes with it, but when it comes to my child, that’s not something I take lightly. Ciara asked, pointing out that she had been taking care of Future’s other four children early on in their relationship.
