Royal Caribbean is Raising the Bar with Harmony of the Seas
Harmony of the Seas will enter service in May 2016 and will be the world’s largest cruise ship and the third in the Oasis class. The 227,000 gross ton ship will spend its inaugural season sailing weekly western Mediterranean itineraries. Included at the park will be a slide dubbed The Ultimate Abyss, standing 100 feet tall.
Along with the thrill rides that will appeal to the older kids and adults, there will also be a toddler-friendly zone that will have a multitude of sea creatures, a huge drench bucket, and an expansive jungle gym, according to USA Today. In November the vessel will homeport in Port Everglades, Ft Lauderdale, Florida sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
Splashaway Bay will join Ultimate Abyss, a 10-storey slide and The flawless Storm trio of waterslides, which are already on board. Thrill seekers can test their mettle in Supercell, featuring a champagne bowl swirling guests around as they descend into their approach towards a big splash finale.
Harmony goes beyond simply having an wonderful water park, as Royal Caribbean noted it will be a technological marvel as as well, including a bar with dancing robot bartenders, virtual balconies in many interior staterooms with sea and port views and high-speed Internet. No other ship in the fleet will have these thrilling water experiences when Harmony of the Seas debuts in 2016.

The water park on the two preceding Oasis-class ships is called H2O Zone.
The Quantum-class ship will carry more than 5,400 passengers.
