The summer finale also revealed that Alison’s lost brother (Charles) was a transgender and would always asked her mother Jessica to buy dresses.
While every show fans already know or has an idea that A is Charles DiLaurentis, the showrunner pulled a jaw-dropping surprise when it was revealed in the 10th episode of Season 6 that Charles is actually CeCe Drake, cites TV Line. There are ~*SpOiLeRs*~ below so please please please stop reading now if you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to ruin it! “I’m happy that the identity of “A” has been revealed”, Marlene said. But his infatuation with dressing in a feminine flair intensified when he became a patient at Radley Sanitarium.
Alison won’t be the only one supporting her troubled sis. However, they will face new challenges as lot of new mysteries will unfold before them.
It’s been confirmed that all of the characters that have been part of the PLL world will continue to be involved with the show when it returns in 2016 and we know that Charlotte will be getting a bigger part too.
Last year, the show has been renewed for two seasons. Unsurprisingly Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna have had a very rocky relationship with the duplicitous and manipulative Ali. “Charlotte is the real Wolf of Wall Street; she took that money and built an empire out of it, which is another thing we’ll explore after the time jump”. Will Allison DiLaurentis really forgive Charles, her half-brother and the person behind A’s mask, after everything he’s done to her and the girls?
The end of the summer finale is still fresh leaving viewers with a 5-year time jump where Alison could be seen as a teacher at Rosewood High and uttering the words, “He is coming”. She said that when Marlene decided that the transgender twist is going to happen, she knew what she was taking on and back then, three years ago, people did not talk about transgender the way they are doing now. They all went off to pursue their individual interests so we’re expecting the liars to have been changed by their life experiences.
