Moscow’s Aleksandr Kokorin is likely to complete his transfer this summer
The Russian international’s agent has confirmed that the player could join Man United this summer, but the Red Devils will have to beat Tottenham to capture his signature. The player will definitely be interested in moving to the Premier League, especially with such big clubs interested.
Kokorin, 24, was once a highly-rated forward, but his career has stagnated a tad, but he continues to play a key role for Dynamo.
United boss Louis van Gaal is looking to bolster his attack before the end of the transfer window after missing out on prime target Pedro.
“There are many reasons to think that it will [happen] in one of two teams before August 31”.
The 24-year-old striker also reportedly has interest from Tottenham and Zenit St Petersburg, however, United are believed to be in pole position to snare the Russian global.
Both United and Spurs are in need of reinforcements up front, overly reliant on the services of Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane respectively.
Last season, Kokorin made 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
He has 32 worldwide caps for Russian Federation, with eight goals to his name, having previously netted 11 in 29 at under-21 level.
